He's Calling..

In school we are called upon to
answer whatever our teacher ask
of us. This can be done through
homework, quizes, exercises,
tests and many other
procedures.
In our lives we are called upon to
answer to an even higher power
than that.
Our God.
Whether we answer or not is not
the concern. When God calls us
He takes hold of us. It isn't a
choice. Going against Him only
allows you to evade for so long.
Jonah is a great example of this.
He knew from the moment that
God called Him that He would
run away.
Or so it seemed.
Jonah knew all along that the
Lord would catch up to Him ;
Jonah was a believer . But just like
you and I, Jonah was scared.
Doubtful that he would be able
to spread the word to the
wicked Ninevites. He is right. We
can't do this work alone.
Exactly the reason why God
called Him.
When God calls, He provides. He
prepares. And He proceeds to
have His will executed by the
means of us. Whether we want
to or not.
Maybe you're brave.
Maybe you're scared.
Maybe you aren't ready for the
trial in front of you.
You're right.
You aren't , but God is.
And He will provide for you
through it all, if you just believe
and allow Him to bless others
around you.
Don' t run away. Walk with Him
today.
