Since childhood we wanted everything that felt or looked good. But sometimes we wouldn't recieve them because of the wisdom, knowledge, and experience our parents had aquired. Now that we have grown much older things haven't changed except the actual objects and people who tempt us. Temptation seems massive and unstoppable. We look directly at it when we should avoid it. Just like avoiding an incoming car when crossing the street, if you stand and watch you will very well get injured. We all get ran over by certain temptations:
Greed, Sex, Drugs, Liquor, Violence, Anarchy, and many more.
The only way to combat these arsenals that Satan observes in us and uses against us, is to avoid them all together. Satan can never creep up behind you, he must approach you face to face. When you see him, RUN. Remember TEMPtation is only TEMPorary. Avoid it long enough and you will defeat it!
