Genesis 2:18-25
It all started with one man and one woman.
Adam was God's most prized creation, by far. God had put every aspect of His power into creating man. Adam was a powerful, obedient figure. Adam however, was lonely by himself.
It all started with one man and one woman.
God sensed this discouragement and need in Adam. God caused Adams attention to be taken from him and fall asleep so that he could create a mate from the very essence of Adam, but in an opposite form. This form would be called "Woman". Might I add that woman (she was then named Eve) was a special being herself; all of God's other creations were from dirt, but Eve was created from the rib of Adam (man) and fashioned by God.
It all started with one man and one woman.
Adam and Eve are the perfect role models of love, marriage, and orientation:
Love- Adam was lonely. God saw fit to provide to provide for him. We are exactly the same. Our Heavenly father knows and creates what and who is best for us all.
Marriage- God bounded Adam and Eve together in one union that was powerful. Eve came from Adam and was a part of Him, just as He was a part of Her. God binds man and woman by marriage today, because they are in essence one together and pieces of each other. Not solely because they love one another.
Orientation- Noticed specifically that God created Eve in similar fashion as Adam but quite different in certain physical aspects. Their sexual organs were different but came together to form a child. God did not make Adam a duplicate of his body, nor did he do this for Eve. Man and Woman are the only ones to be oriented between each other. Not man and man or woman and woman.
It all started with one man and one woman.
In today's generations we have allowed these powerful rules and bonds to break apart and mix with other false doctrines. Love is no longer the mediator between man and woman; instead it is lust and sex. Marriage no longer binds; instead dating can be just as meaningful as a marriage because we regard no distinct difference between the two. Orientation has been opened to as many partners and whomever one may choose. These are definite signs that God is not pleased with how we have distorted His gift and Love He has created for each of us. Love is between a man and a woman, who are equally yoked. The man and woman shall come together in marriage at the appointed time to combine in one accord. This type of pairing is only through one man and one woman; nothing more nothing less.
