1 Samuel 17, 18, 19
There is a warrior within the oppressed.
David v. Goliath is a story many of us have heard about. David was in his youth yet believed and fought as if he was in his prime. David is an example of following the will of God even thru the distortion of adversity.
Fear and confusion tend to cloud many of our minds. We may put God aside unknowingly to protect ourselves. This never works. Like, David we must submit to God, and not our fears.
There is a warrior within the oppressed.
Maybe you are experiencing adversity. Trial. Failure. Hate. Abuse. Lack of Love. Addiction.
These adversities are only temporary. They are clouds. They are Goliaths-they talk a good fight but can be slain by you.
Then what's stopping you?
The same mindset that stopped Sauls army, "You can't defeat it". You are right. You can't. But through God you can conquer these adversities. Keep your eyes and focus on God and not the rewards and outcomes of your successes.
There is a warrior within the oppressed.
