Dam Funk (Pronounced Dame Funk) is someone I stumbled on like a week ago. He abuses synths and beatmachines, but the way he orchestrates them is melodic and hypnotizing. Dam signed to the famed Stonesthrow Records in 2007 and has produced a plethora of compilations. His sound is best described as a blend of heavy Funk, New Age, Techno, Jazz, and a hint of Hip-Hop. He has worked with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Taz Arnold, Erykah Badu, Etta James, De La Soul, and many more. His music is all positive and something we can all relate to in Love, Life, Friends, and Happiness. Enjoy.
