"No matter the condition, seek salvation of others". Philippians 1:12-18
Greetings family in Christ,
Paul was another man on fire for God. And through Paul, God transformed many lives. Paul in these scriptures, is updating his fellow members of the church of Philippi on his conditions in the jail that he's in.
Paul is even writing this letter to each of us as believers. Paul says that God has him bound up in chains, in jail for the sole reason of reaching those people there who surround him. He is very much confined, but not imprisoned. He is set free through God and spreading the Gospel is far more important. In this boldness, Paul has encouraged those around Him to witness as well and not fear repercussions. Even those who are jealous at the publicity that Paul receives by his boldness in Christ, are spreading the message to surpass Him. All in all, these things are wonderful.
How many of us are alive and set free through Christ? We have sins we may struggle with, we feel that bind us together and hold us down. Never let your current conditions hold you back from potential salvation of others. Use your condition to your advantage-spread the word to those who surround you in all conditions of life: the good, the bad, the rich, the poor, the sick, the healthy, whatever.
May God increasing your blessings,
Your brother in Christ
