Pain. Fear. Doubt. Sin.
These are just a few things that hold us back and divide us from ever recieving God's help or word.
Faith. Courage. Forgiveness. Jesus.
These are things and God's very own Son who allows us to grow in and along with the Lord.
There are times when we hurt God far more than any enemy, friend,or even family we ever had/have. Disobeying his commandments, constantly giving in to our temptations after promising Him we would never give in again, setting bad examples as Christians and/or many other faults. We do live in and amongst sin as well.
However, Jesus came to help us all out. He died a gruesome death to destroy a gruesome eternity in hell for all of us. All that He asks of us is to repent and call upon the Lord for guidance in and around everything we do and every person we meet.
Easy right? Wrong.
Just like a teacher offering tutorials, that doesn't mean the student will take it. The student will only come to the teacher when things have gone way out of their control or power to fix-when they have failed.
God is just like that. He watches over our shoulders and waits for when (not if) we fall, stumble, or struggle. Ask in His name and that is all we need.
Ask for forgiveness and He will truly forget that the whole ordeal happened. Yes, I said He will FORGET. Often times we live in a world where mistakes are remembered far more than successes were in any individual.
God understands we struggle. We fall. We fear.
But He is there each time.
To lift the burden. To pick us up. To encourage us.
If you aren't as formidable as you once were, quit handling the problem on your own! Hand it to Him and handle your problems no more.
Psalms 130
