Romans 1:21-32
Knowledge is not enough, when even evil knows what is good.
We live in a world today where there is rampant evil amongst all of us. It seems that our world if growing colder but in reality the principles that applied centuries ago still remain true:
To know the difference between doing what's good and doing what's bad is not enough conviction to do the right thing. That is just a choice-choices are by freedom and freedom isn't always free. You pay a price for choosing either good or bad, but in due time the good is far more worth what the bad can get you at the moment.
Knowledge is not enough, when even evil knows what is good.
Even Satan and his demons know who God is and what good is. To define evil you need something/someone who is good. This is where God steps in, but simply knowing this doesn't allow you to triumph over what evils exist. You have to unlock the power in His Holy Word and put it into action.
You can't just hold a flashlight turned off, and expect to walk with awareness of what's clearly around you through the dark. You must cut that light on yourself and decipher the light from the dark!
The Glory of God is the same way. You can't simply know about it and it satisfy you. You must put it into action daily to grow and become stronger or someone will exercise that power over you in evil ways. Knowledge is not enough, when even evil knows what is good.
