To: My sibling in Christ

Hello,

I just wanted to say I appreciate our encounter. From first glance, I didn't think you were much-I rarely saw you. Then to my astonishment you started showing up in a lot of places I started attending. One day by "luck" I was introduced to you and learned more about the amazing human being that lies within you. You were very much involved and cared about the people you served. Never have I met a person who cared that deeply and passionately about who they were serving.

I was perplexed and had to know more about you! I began to feel ashamed for my misconceptions of you. As we began to run into each other more, eventually you approached me to hang out with you one-on-one one day. We talked about a lot of spiritual triumphs, goals, struggles and addictions I had deep inside. You struggled with those same demons for many years. You told me to pray. Pray on this situation and pray that If it be God's will then you would like to held accountable for me.

Never did I have a slightly older person who was accountable for me. Many people of my age would advise me, but I had no older authority that was my goal to live like in the next 5 years. It was not "luck" that crossed out paths, it was God.

We both had busy schedules, but when we met it was a phenomenal impact on my life. Your walk with the Lord and all the things that God had done for you astounded me. I began to tell everyone who was close to me about the glory that shines brightly through you. I wanted to make these same decisions and actions for Christ my savior, like you did.

I question whether you're human or not. Many times you show up in my life when I am plunging and drowning deep in sin and your encouragement to get closer to God pulls me to the surface. You never once took the Glory; that Glory was given to Christ. And I strongly believe that Christ gave you to me. And I am eternally thankful for this gift. Thank you God. Amen

Sincerely,

Your sibling in Christ
