He anoints us where he appoints us.

Daniel 2:48

He anoints us where he appoints us.

The story of Daniel is one of true worthiness. Daniel was selected for high position, because God's plan for him. Daniel never entirely knew God's final location for him, but he knew the path he should take. This path is the one that each of us are given: paths that exalt God in work, mind, and spirit.

Work-Daniel proved very much that he was willing to work his best at whatever was set in front of him. Not what was set in place. Many times we aim at somewhere we want to be. With God you will Go further than that point. Don't constrict His power in and through you.

Mind-Daniel had a sound mind that was very knowledgable because of the wisdom bestowed to him by God. Many will question our mental stability for positions that we are given. As long as we are leading by example of Christ with our minds, we will invoke others to want to know more about Him.

Spirit-Daniel's spirit was no different than many of our lower class workers today. He was humble in every way and always eager to take on positions that were never in his job description. The king was just as curious about Daniel as his enemies were. This spirit eventually rubbed off on many others that got to experience Daniel. This should be our spirit in the workplace: contagious eagerness.

He anoints us where he appoints us. No one is ever truly ready for the positions God bestows upon us. We are given gifts that will take us everywhere when we use them. The trials we face are indicative to the decisions we make when using our gifts. If not used properly, we can lose these Gifts. When used properly, we will encounter many people and their tests. Be an example of Christ in your mindset, your spirit, and your workability. Many will wonder, promote, and respect this aura that Christ wants to create in each of us.
