Luke 12:4-5
Amongst ourselves we create anger, stress, malice, wickedness. Fear is the prime catalyst in this concoction. Driven by fear, we will do the most deplorable things without hesitation-for our own safety.
But our safety isn't handled well by us.
We can account for about 10% or less of being safe by awareness of our surroundings and who we interact with. That other 90% or more is dedicated to God. God holds our safety and watches our back our entire life.
He knows much more about us than our parents or doctors even know.
We should be very afraid of Him. He controls our friends, enemies and even your eyes as you read this devotion. God is all around an cannot be escaped from. Their is evidence of Him EVERYWHERE. There is no where to leave His presence.
Pretty scary, huh?
Do not be afraid or upset with things or people. Through it all, God is controlling them and you. There is a reason behind every problem. Sometimes it's not in our power to know that reason. We will find out one day why God allowed certain things and people to affect our lives and we will be glad that he had it under control on His watch.
